Design and Symbolism

The central arch depicts a grand domed synagogue building, honoring Kyiv’s Jewish heritage. The arch is flanked by two hand-detailed crowned lion reliefs — a classic guardian motif in Jewish art, symbolizing strength and protection.

Materials and Craftsmanship

Italian fresco style, with Italian mosaic and natural amber elements. Entirely handcrafted. The piece features a bronze “צדקה” (tzedakah) plaque and a coin slot in the lid.
