Design and Symbolism

The central arch depicts a quiet stone alley of Jerusalem’s Old City, with the ancient skyline rising above it — Jerusalem has long been called the Eternal City for its unbroken place at the heart of Jewish memory and prayer. The arch is flanked by two hand-detailed pomegranate reliefs, a traditional symbol of righteousness and abundance in Jewish tradition.

Materials and Craftsmanship

Italian fresco style, with Italian mosaic and natural amber elements. Entirely handcrafted. The piece features a bronze “צדקה” (tzedakah) plaque and a coin slot in the lid.
